Joseph Lorefice was known to consider every detail, and used his experience and creativity to meet the unique needs and desires of his clients. John is greatly inspired by his father’s values and business ethic and has dedicated himself to the business ever since he was a teenager.
With a loyal clientele, the jewellery business continues to thrive. Gianni operates it full time and enjoys every second of it as a successful sole owner, carrying his father’s inspirational legacy to new heights for more than 50 years.

Custom Jewellers by Gianni was founded by John 'Gianni' Lorefice's father, Joseph 'Giuseppe' Lorefice in 1953.
Joseph was offered a course in watch-making after serving in World War II. He became a master watchmaker, then developed his skills in jewellery, and eventually opened several successful jewellery stores in Toronto.

Start with what you have
A sketch, a photo of a ring you love, or a stone from a family piece. Every ring starts from a conversation at the counter.
See it before it is made
We draw the ring in CAD and send you accurate images, then refine it with you. You can try on a 3D print of the exact design before it is cast.
Ready in about a week
Once you approve the design, most rings are ready for pickup about one week later.
