Our small family-business is committed to designing you the perfect piece that reflects the story that led you here. Our story is a true Canadian story of hard work and dedication. We are passionate experts in custom design and are proud to be your one-stop full-service jewellery shop, passed down from Father to Son.
Custom Jewellers by Gianni was founded by John 'Gianni' Lorefice's father, Joseph 'Giuseppe' Lorefice in 1953.
Joseph was offered a course in watch-making after serving in World War II. He became a master watchmaker, then developed his skills in jewellery, and eventually opened several successful jewellery stores in Toronto.
Now John operates his store at 922 Pape Ave.
Joseph Lorefice was known to consider every detail, and used his experience and creativity to meet the unique needs and desires of his clients. John is greatly inspired by his father’s values and business ethic and has dedicated himself to the business ever since he was a teenager.
With a loyal clientele, the jewellery business continues to thrive. Gianni operates it full time and enjoys every second of it as a successful sole owner, carrying his father’s inspirational legacy to new heights for more than 50 years.
